Calvinism is Biblical
IF
You believe in a Covenantalist Bible interpretation method. As opposed to a more literal Dispensationalist Bible interpretation method.
For a quick recap:
Covenantalist
  • Focuses on uniting concepts and words at the base level
  • Could be classified as inductive logic
  • Does not separate abstract concepts/words like will, heart, etc. (It means one will use each word interchangeably as if they are all the same thing. Example: “You will is inherently evil! Cause the Bible says your heart is deceitful above all things.” That is only true IF a will is truly the same thing as a heart.)
  • Excepting the Old and New Covenant division, also Law and Grace, Old and New Testament
  • Does not separate physical from spiritual
  • Does not separate soul from spirit
  • Does not separate Israel from Church
Dispensationalist
  • Focuses on dividing concepts and words at the base level (2 Tim. 2:15, Heb. 4:12)
  • Could be classified as deductive logic
  • Separates abstract concepts/words like will, heart, etc. as their own distinct concept
  • Thus the Bible have more divisions than just two Old and New Testaments, often termed Dispensations
  • Separates physical from spiritual
  • Separates soul from spirit
  • Separates Israel from Church
And so on.
Running through Romans 9 with the two different interpretation methods will result in opposite conclusions.
Romans 9
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh
Covenantalist interpretation: The part about flesh and kinsmen is ignored or spiritualized, as Covenantalism does not make physical and spiritual distinct
Dispensationalist interpretation: The part about flesh and kinsmen is emphasized, setting this chapter as a chapter about the physical part of things.
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Covenantalist interpretation: Since Israel and Church are the same, the chapter is about all saved.
Dispensationalist interpretation: Since Israel and Church are separate, the chapter is about only Israel, and no one else.
